Outreach for
Veterans & Cops, etc |
EDITOR'S NOTE: NAASCA is not licensed to work directly with children, but it's a big part of our mission to educate those who DO come in contact with kids, community members like parents, teachers, law enforcement, councilors, ministers, etc. We're also heavily engaged with offering services, tools, help and resources to all adults, folks who are 18 and older. These survivors we deal with directly as possible, and we welcome all of them to the NAASCA family. |

Outreach for Veterans / Cops / PTSD sufferers
by Bill Murray
There are particular groups of survivors who feel especially challenged to come forward with their stories. Among them would be veterans, law enforcement officers, and others who suffer PTSD as a result of their childhood trauma.
NAASCA wants to reach these fellow survivors and we now have the perfect NAASCA family member to do so. Sean Wyman is an 8-year military Airborne Ranger veteran and a 17-year police officer and trainer in Tallahassee, Florida.
We're grateful he's offered to be the NAASCA Outreach volunteer who serves our veterans, law enforcement officers and anyone else who suffers from PTSD who need assistance to avoid additional suffering.
Sean can be contacted by email: themovementprocess@gmail.com or called: 850 / 508-1522, and you can hear his story on our talk radio show: Stop Child Abuse Now (SCAN) - 1623 |
Outreach for Veterans / Cops / PTDS sufferers
More about Sean:
NAASCA family member Sean Wyman is spearheading our effort to reach a group that sometimes has extra issues that make them avoid getting on a healing journey. Frequently veterans and police officers (and men in general,) hold on to their 'secrets' a long time .. but we want to encourage them to start their healing process by offering them a safe place to be heard respected and understood without being judged.
Sean can definitely help. His experience as an 8-year Airborne Ranger and 17-years in law enforcement, and a child abuse survivor who has healed, will help establish to others that they can too.
Sean believes it is inside of all of us to live the life we want to live. He had an abusive childhood, grew up in foster care and group homes, and experimented with drugs (getting addicted to cigarettes and alcohol at 13). He had a near death experience in the Army at 21, failed in his first marriage (going $96,000 in debt by age 27), and failed miserably for his first years getting started in business. Sean understands adversity very well.
Sean's now an advocate, and says, "Welcome to the Movement." Through God he turned each adversity into a life-changing opportunity to help others not make the same mistakes in their lives.
Sean's passion is helping people take action to create a life-enhancing transformation in their life as they make challenging decisions, crush adversity, eliminate self-doubt and keep moving forward. Through his book 'Let Go the Movement Process' and his speaking engagements through his 'Success Movement' Radio Show, Sean is impacting people all over the world.
He shares with churches, non-profit organizations, schools, and corporations with his Life Enhancing Transformation God Organized 8 Step Movement Process.
We're so glad Sean's helping us reach a new group of fellow still-suffering survivors of child abuse and trauma!
